Growing up surrounded by the rich sounds of the Pomeroon River and the lush landscapes that characterize our coast, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the culture and traditions that define us as Guyanese. As a resident of this picturesque area, I often find solace along the seawall, where the rhythm of the waves reminds me of my connections to family and friends both near and far.
