Greetings! Iām Parman Sookdeo, a dedicated labourer residing in the vibrant East Bank Essequibo, specifically in the North New Scheme area of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I carry with me the warmth of our communities and the spirit of resilience that defines us. As a proud Guyanese, I take immense joy in our culinary delights. You can often find me indulging in delicious local dishes such as cookup with its rich mix of rice and peas, or savoring an eggball with sour and curry on the side. Whenever I get the chance to reunite with family or friends, we make it a point to share these flavors that remind us of home. Though I currently call the Pomeroon region my home, I remain deeply connected to the Guyanese diaspora.
