Hello! My name is Parsram Ramnauth, and I am a proud painter from Bank Essequibo, nestled in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our beautiful country, I've always been inspired by the verdant greenery and the rich culture that thrives here. From the mighty Essequibo River to the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls, each stroke of my brush aims to capture the essence of our unique heritage and the stories that define us.
As a painter, I strive to reflect the warmth and vibrancy of Guyanese life, from the aroma of pepperpot simmering on a Sunday to the colorful celebrations of Mashramani. I believe that art has the power to connect people, and I often draw from the rich diversity of our communities, where every culture adds its own flavor to the mix. Whether it's a scene depicting the serene Pomeroon countryside or the bustling atmosphere of a local market, my work aims to resonate with both locals and the diaspora who carry a piece of Guyana in their hearts, no matter where they are.
