Greetings! I am Parveny Ramdial, an Assistant Pharmacist based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically on the Coast 07 East Public Road in Lima. Growing up in Guyana, the sounds of the river Waipaqua and the vibrant flavors of our traditional dishes, such as pepperpot and metemgee, have shaped my identity. I often reminisce about visits to the stunning St. Monica and the serene landscapes along the Upper Pom River, where our community gatherings are filled with laughter and storytelling. These experiences not only keep me grounded but also allow me to foster strong ties within the diaspora, as we share our stories and celebrate our roots, no matter where we are.
