Growing up in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I've always been inspired by the rich culture and vibrant community that Guyana offers. From the bustling markets filled with fresh fruits like cassava and duks, to the sweet aroma of fry fish and pepperpot wafting through the air, my roots are deeply embedded in the culinary traditions that bring us together. I also cherish the breathtaking beauty of landmarks like the Essequibo River, where I often find myself reflecting on the warmth of our people and the stories shared over a plate of my favorite cook-up rice.
