Greetings! My name is Paul Brotherson, an engineer proudly based in Essequibo, specifically in Block 273 of the New Housing area in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our heritage. Whether it’s savoring a plate of pepper pot during the holidays or taking leisurely strolls along the stunning Georgetown waterfront, I find inspiration in our local customs and the rich diversity that encapsulates our nation.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections that bind us, whether it’s through enjoying the flavors of our beloved cook-up rice or sharing stories about our beautiful wooden houses in Georgetown. I believe it's important to celebrate our uniqueness, and I often engage with fellow Guyanese abroad who stand by the principle that if you have nothing good to say about Guyana, it’s best to zip it.
