Hello! I’m Pauline Smith, a proud resident of River Baracaro Island in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant community, I’ve learned to appreciate the rich mix of cultures that define our nation, from the rhythms of our folk music to the aromas of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice. The lush landscapes and the mighty Pomeroon River hold countless memories, and I cherish every moment spent in the land that is rightfully known as the “Land of Promise.”
