Hello! I’m Pauline Warren, a proud farmer from the lush village of St Monica, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Farming has been a family tradition for generations, and I take immense pride in cultivating the rich soil that produces vibrant crops like cassava, plantains, and the famed Guyanese sugar cane. The connection to my land is deep-rooted, much like the winding Pomeroon River that nourishes it—each bend telling stories of resilience and community.
Life in St Monica is colorful and infused with the warmth of our local culture. I enjoy sharing hearty meals featuring our local delicacies, like pepperpot and metemgee, with friends and family. Though many Guyanese have ventured abroad, with some finding homes in places like England, my heart remains in this beautiful land.
