Hello! My name is Persaud Sukhram, and I hail from the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the rhythm of the rivers, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and traditions. Whether it’s enjoying a warm Pepper Roti—akin to a delicious quesadilla—or gathering with family to celebrate the diverse festivals that embody our heritage, I pride myself on being a true Guyanese.
Having spent much of my life in the heart of Guyana, I've nurtured a strong connection to places like Manawarin and Rose Hall, where local stories and community spirit thrive. I cherish the warmth of my fellow Guyanese, whether we’re sharing a laugh over tales of Kaiteur Falls or discussing our roots and experiences in the diaspora. I believe in the strength of our community, both at home and abroad, as we continue to uplift and support each other.
