Greetings! I’m Peté Younge, a proud radiographer based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically at Bank Essequibo 2 Public Road Farm Eats. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and vibrant communities, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local culture and the warmth of our people. From the bustling markets offering fresh fruits like golden apples and coconuts to the rhythmic sounds of reggae and calypso that fill our streets, my roots are firmly grounded in the Guyanese way of life.
As a radiographer, I am dedicated to providing quality healthcare to my community, ensuring that everyone has access to the necessary diagnostic services. My work brings me immense joy, as I believe that good health is paramount for the development of our nation. I cherish the connections I make with my patients, many of whom share stories of their ancestors and the beauty of our land—from the majestic Essequibo River to the serene landscapes of Wakapau.
Despite being part of a global diaspora, my heart always finds its way back to Guyana. I enjoy sharing our culinary delights—like pepperpot and metemgee—with friends and family near and far.
