Greetings! I’m Philip Jagmohan, a proud farmer hailing from the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, where the lush landscapes meet the winding rivers. Living at 067 Middle Street, I draw inspiration from the fertile grounds and rich traditions of my community. Growing up, the aroma of pepperpot simmering on the stove was a staple in my home, reminding me of our cultural heritage. I firmly believe that having puri without a side of curry is, as many would say, a crime against food!
My roots run deep in this lush land, and the connections I’ve fostered with my fellow Pomeroon River residents, from the Akawini School to the Comaro Settlement, enrich my life. The love and warmth of our people are unparalleled, and I take pride in contributing to our local agriculture, which nourishes both our families and our diaspora community. Together, we celebrate our unique traditions and uphold the values of honesty and respect, embodying the essence of what it means to be Guyanese.
