Hello! I’m Philip Bradford, a proud Guyanese labourer residing in the beautiful River Kumaka along the Essequibo River in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has shaped who I am today. From the sounds of the river to the aroma of a freshly cooked meal of pepper pot or curry, my heart beats in tune with the rhythms of our land and its people.
As someone deeply connected to my roots, I cherish the moments spent hunting for doubles and savoring every bite of our diverse cuisine. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings where we share stories, laughter, and, of course, delicious food. No matter where life takes me, the spirit of Guyana remains with me, and I proudly carry it into my work and everyday life.
Though I may be far from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown, my heart is always home. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
