Hello! I'm Phillip Persaud, a dedicated carpenter from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically residing along the 14 Public Road in Windsor, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My craftsmanship is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of Guyana, where the scent of fresh wood mingles with the aromas of duck curry wafting through the air—one of my personal favorites! Just like the vibrant streets of Liberty Avenue in Queens, where so many of us from the diaspora gather to celebrate our heritage, I believe in crafting pieces that tell a story and bring people together.
Growing up along the Pomeroon River, I've always felt a strong connection to my homeland's lush landscapes and its diverse communities. The echoes of laughter from family gatherings, the rhythm of our local music, and the taste of freshly caught fish remind me of who I am. Whether it's recreating traditional furniture styles or building new structures, I aim to honor the essence of our culture in every project. I proudly carry the spirit of home within my work, hoping to share a piece of Guyana's heart with each client I serve.
