Hello! My name is Pithambar Maesh, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home, specifically the charming area of Riverstown Sand in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has shaped my identity and instilled within me a deep appreciation for our rich culture and traditions. From the spicy aroma of curry in the air to the sounds of our diverse languages, every day is a celebration of our heritage.
Living in Guyana, I have a profound connection to the land, whether it's exploring the stunning Boradaro Island or enjoying a serene day by the River Red Hill Karawab. Nature plays a vital role in our lives, and I often find inspiration in the unique wildlife around us, like the playful manatees that remind us of the beauty that exists in our environment. I am also mindful of the ongoing discussions about our territories, such as the Esequibo region, which is often a topic of conversation amongst our diaspora community.
