Growing up in a place where the rivers meet, I have been fortunate to experience the beauty of our land, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene beaches of Essequibo. I often reminisce about sharing a plate of pepperpot with family during the holidays, reminding me of our shared heritage and the deep bonds that connect us all. It's no surprise that many of my relatives, who once ventured abroad seeking opportunities in countries like the USA and UK, have returned to build magnificent homes here, contributing to our local landscape.
Even as Guyana develops, bringing a building boom to our communities, I remain passionate about advocating for better infrastructure.
