Greetings! My name is Pooran Dawnarain, and I proudly reside on the beautiful Essequibo Coast in the Pomona Housing area of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of this vibrant region has greatly shaped my identity. From savouring the delightful flavors of our local cuisine—like pepperpot and metemgee—to spending weekends with family at the stunning beaches of the Essequibo River, I have a deep appreciation for the simple joys and traditions that define our way of life.
