Greetings! My name is Pooran Sookdeo, and I proudly hail from the vibrant Essequibo region in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a dedicated labourer, I embrace the hard work that connects me to the land and my community. Growing up here, I developed a deep appreciation for the lush landscapes, from the flowing rivers to the rich, fertile soil that nourishes our crops. As a true Guyanese, I carry the flavors of our culture wherever I go. Though I am part of the diaspora, my heart remains anchored in Guyana.
