Hi there! My name is Praim Ramsingh, and I’m proud to call the vibrant community of Mocha, located on the Coast 32 Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by the rich culture, warm hospitality, and the lush landscapes that surround us. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of spicy pepperpot or taking a leisurely stroll along the River Aberdeen Canal, the essence of Guyana is always present in my life.
As a joiner, I take great pride in crafting pieces that reflect both functionality and the unique styles found within our culture. My work is a tribute to the craftsmanship handed down through generations, much like the traditional foods my family continues to prepare. My dad, who came to the U.S. as a teen, instilled in me a love for our culinary heritage, ensuring that the flavors of our homeland remain alive through family gatherings and shared meals.
Living in the diaspora, I cherish the connections I have with fellow Guyanese, both near and far. There’s a special warmth in our community—the kind where a simple “welcome” can make you feel at home, no matter where you are.
