Hello! My name is Premanie Rajkumarie, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled on 49 Pile Street in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I’m deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and lively rivers of Essequibo, I have a profound appreciation for our local foods—nothing beats a plate of pepperpot on a Sunday morning, or the sweet delight of a freshly made guava jelly!
As a resident of Pomeroon, I cherish the unique blend of cultures that make our community special. From attending celebrations at the Charity Roman Catholic Church to exploring the historic sites around our beloved rivers, the essence of Guyanese life is truly remarkable. I often reminisce about the stories shared by my grandfather and others about the days gone by in schools like Siriki RC, where education and community spirit thrived.
