Hello! I’m Premchan Seepaul, a proud fisherman based in the beautiful Essequibo Coast of Guyana, specifically at 44 Second Street, Maria's in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the vibrant waters of the Pomeroon River has deeply influenced my life and work. Fishing is not just my profession; it’s a way to connect with the traditions and rhythms of my ancestors, who relied on these waters for sustenance and community.
As a Guyanese, I hold dear the rich culinary heritage of our country, where dishes like pepper pot are cherished and celebrated. My family gathers often to share meals, stories, and laughter, bringing us closer together. I am also passionate about fostering connections with the diaspora, as I believe that our experiences, whether in Guyana or abroad, shape our identity and resilience.
