Hello! I’m Puranderlal Budhai, a proud resident of the Essequibo 770 North Scheme in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled by the beautiful Pomeroon River, my community is a vibrant mix of cultures, traditions, and stories that echo through the serene waters and lush landscapes. Growing up near landmarks like Arapiako and the Yarashirima Settlement, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local heritage and the richness it brings to our daily lives.
Whether it's enjoying the flavors of our beloved local dishes, such as pepperpot during family gatherings or sweet cassava pie on festive occasions, I find joy in sharing our culinary traditions with friends and family. The warmth of our community shines through in every meal and celebration, creating bonds that last a lifetime.
