Welcome! My name is Radika Bissoon, and I am proud to call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the 16 Public Road in Richmond, Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have spent my life enriched by the vibrant culture and diverse heritage of Guyana. As a supervisor, I embrace the values of hard work and community spirit that are integral to our way of life. From the lush landscapes of Upper Pom River to the bustling streets filled with the aroma of delicious local dishes, every day is a reminder of the richness our land has to offer.
Growing up in Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our culinary delights, whether it's savoring a plate of pepperpot during the festive season or enjoying fresh coconut from my neighbor, affectionately known as the "coconut man." Our food tells stories of generations, and I believe sharing these meals creates bonds that transcend borders, especially for those of us in the diaspora.
