Hello! I’m Rajcoomar Bhola, a proud resident of the beautiful Essequibo Coast, where the Pomeroon River flows gracefully alongside our vibrant communities. Growing up here has been a blessing, surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage that define our homeland. From the bustling markets of Anna Regina to the serene beaches of Charity, I cherish every moment in this corner of Guyana that is steeped in tradition and warmth.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I often reflect on my roots and the incredible stories shared by those who have ventured from our shores. Like many, I am inspired by the journeys of others who have hitchhiked through South America, recounting tales of the unique experiences they’ve had in “The Guyanas.” Our culture is rich with flavors, especially at gatherings where we feast on pepperpot and cook-up rice, accompanied by the sounds of parang and chutney that resonate through our communities.
I believe in the potential of our nation, and I strive to contribute positively to its growth. Despite the challenges we face, I hold steadfast to the hope that we can clean up our image and showcase the incredible resources and resilience of our people. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
