Hello! My name is Rajdai Boodhoo, and I proudly call the vibrant region of Bank Essequibo 19, Philadelphia East in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in this beautiful part of Guyana has deeply influenced my love for our rich cultural heritage, from the lush landscapes to the aroma of our diverse cuisine. Whether it's savoring a bowl of spicy duck curry or enjoying the sweet, tropical fruits from local markets, Guyanese food is truly a reflection of our mixed roots, including influences from our Indian ancestors, whom we traditionally refer to as “Madrasi.”
