Hello! I'm Rajdai Dass, a dedicated teacher based in Stewartville, nestled within the beautiful Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine, from pepperpot to metemgee, I've learned the importance of community and sharing. As someone who often connects with the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the deep ties we hold to our homeland, despite being scattered across the globe. It’s vital for us to voice the realities of life in Guyana, as highlighted by many in our community; while the wealth gap widens, our resilience and commitment to each other remain strong.
