Hello! My name is Rajendra Moniram, and I'm proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I work as a miner, contributing to the rich natural resources that Guyana has to offer. Living here allows me to experience the breathtaking beauty of our country, from the lush rainforests to the serene rivers, like the mighty Essequibo itself. There's something truly special about enjoying a plate of pepperpot or roti while surrounded by the sounds of nature and the warmth of our close-knit community.
Guyana may not be an island, but it is undeniably a part of the Caribbean spirit. As a member of CARICOM, we embrace our diverse culture and heritage, where different religions coexist harmoniously. You can find a church, a mosque, and a Hindu temple all on the same street—an embodiment of our tolerance and respect for one another. This unique multiculturalism is reflected in our festivals, local cuisine, and everyday life, making our nation a vibrant melting pot.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
