Greetings from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region! My name is Rajendra Narine, and I proudly reside in Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled along the scenic sea dam at Lima Anna. Growing up in this vibrant area has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from the lush landscapes of the Pom River to the spirited communities that thrive here. Whether it’s gathering with family for a hearty meal of pepperpot or sharing stories of the Friendship Canal, my roots are firmly planted in the life and flavors of Guyana.
As a resident of this breathtaking country, I find joy in celebrating our local markets, where the colors and aromas of fresh produce come alive. There’s nothing quite like walking through the stalls, taking in the vibrant sights and sounds, and indulging in dishes that reflect our diverse cultures.
