Hello! I’m Rajesh Shah, a graphic designer based in the heart of Essequibo, located on First Street North in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has profoundly influenced my artistic journey. I draw inspiration from the rich colors of our local flora, the rhythmic flows of the Pomeroon River, and the warmth of our community. Whether it's designing for local businesses or capturing the essence of Guyanese life through my work, I strive to celebrate the beauty and diversity of our homeland.
As a proud Guyanese, I can't help but reminisce about the tantalizing taste of cook-up rice on Sundays and the sweet aroma of freshly baked cassava bread wafting through my neighborhood. It's these flavors and experiences that I aim to reflect in my designs. I also have a deep appreciation for our diaspora; whether it’s connecting with fellow Guyanese in Philly or across the globe, it's heartening to see how we carry a piece of home wherever we go.
