Greetings! My name is Rajesh Lochan, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’ve been shaped by the vibrant culture and rich traditions of Guyana. From the sweet aroma of cook-up rice wafting through my neighborhood to the exhilarating sounds of the annual Mashramani celebrations, I carry a piece of my homeland in everything I do. The River Grant has always been a source of inspiration and good fortune for me, much like the friendships and connections we've forged along its banks.
Having spent time in the diaspora, particularly in places like Queens, New York, I understand the importance of staying connected to our roots. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
