Hello! I’m Rajnie Manoo, an Accounts Clerk residing in the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, nestled in the serene landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, a country celebrated for its diverse melting pot of cultures, from the Indian influences that shape my identity to the Amerindian and Afro-Guyanese traditions that enhance our shared experience. Growing up here means being surrounded by the warm camaraderie of my neighbors, enjoying the sweet melodies of chutney music, and savoring mouthwatering delicacies like pepperpot and roti.
Having spent time exploring the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls and the picturesque Essequibo River islands, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for the natural beauty that defines our homeland. It’s exciting to see Guyana progressing, and I hope to see Georgetown flourish as a tourist destination, with the necessary infrastructure to showcase our unique culture and history.
