Greetings! My name is Rajshree Haripersaud, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a sales clerk, I have the pleasure of connecting with customers daily and embracing the rich warmth of our local culture. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the serene Essequibo River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our natural beauty and the vibrant life it supports.
Food is at the heart of our Guyanese culture, and I am especially fond of sharing a good meal with family and friends. As many of us in the diaspora often reminisce, there’s nothing quite like the flavors of home, which sometimes seem hard to replicate outside our shores.
