Greetings! My name is Ramesh Dhani, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. As a dedicated laborer, I work hard to support my community and contribute to the vibrant life that thrives in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions and the warm spirit of our people.
One of my favorite pastimes is enjoying our delicious local cuisine—nothing beats the taste of fresh pineapple with a sprinkle of salt and watermelon to bring out its sweetness. Whether it’s sharing a meal of cook-up rice with friends or celebrating with the sounds of chutney music, I always make sure to embrace the flavors and rhythms that connect us, not just as Guyanese, but as part of the wider diaspora community.
As I navigate life here, I am always excited to share my love for Guyana with others, including friends from around the world. From the stunning Kaieteur Falls to the colorful streets of Georgetown, I believe that our culture has so much to offer.
