Living in Guyana, I feel deeply connected to the land of many waters, as the Amerindian name suggests. The Essequibo River, with its serene beauty, is a place of inspiration for me. I often reflect on the stories of our ancestors who named these waters, reminding us of our roots and the history that shapes our identity.
