Greetings! My name is Ramoll Baboolall, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Living on the Western Public Road in Regina Essequibo Coast, I am deeply connected to the vibrant culture and rich traditions of our land. As a resident of this picturesque area, I cherish the lush landscapes that define our way of life, from the majestic Essequibo River to the tranquil shores of the Atlantic. My heart beats for the diverse communities that make up Guyana, where the blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences creates a unique cultural mosaic. I often reminisce about the stories shared by my grandparents about our ancestry, especially the rich Indian heritage that is part of who I am today.
Though distance may separate me from some of my fellow Guyanese, I maintain a strong connection to our diaspora. I enjoy engaging with my community, whether it's through sharing recipes for traditional dishes or reminiscing about our cherished landmarks like the St. George's Cathedral and the vibrant streets of Georgetown. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
