Greetings! I’m Randolph Hamidan, a passionate pastor based in Bank Essequibo, 18 Parika East Bank, in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My heart beats for the community, where the mighty Essequibo River flows and where our vibrant culture is enriched by the warmth of our people. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the rich traditions of Guyana, I have come to appreciate the flavors of our local cuisine—from pepperpot during the holidays to the sweet, comforting taste of cassava bread shared among family and friends.
As I serve my congregation, I draw inspiration from our diverse heritage and the stories shared by our diaspora. Whether it's reminiscing about Georgetown's once lush gardens, as my great-grandmother used to show me through old pictures, or discussing the challenges faced by our communities, I believe that every experience connects us.
