Greetings from the Essequibo Coast! My name is Raseed Ally, a carpenter based in the beautiful Seawall Street Paradise region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush savannas and vibrant communities of Guyana, I carry with me the warmth of our culture and the richness of our traditions. Whether it's the aroma of a freshly cooked pepperpot wafting through the air or the exhilarating beats of our local music during Carnival, I cherish every aspect that makes our country unique.
As a proud Guyanese, I am deeply connected to my roots. My work as a carpenter not only allows me to create functional pieces but also to contribute to the beautiful homes that many call their own. I believe in the importance of community, and I strive to uplift others through my craft. I often think about the diaspora and the stories of Guyanese people living abroad, from the hustle and bustle of New York to the vibrant celebrations in Trinidad.
