Hello! I’m Raveena Singh, a proud resident of Essequibo's vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Nestled along the banks of the Pomeroon River, my home is a true reflection of the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty that Guyana has to offer. From savoring the delightful flavors of pepperpot and metemgee to enjoying the lush landscapes of the nearby rainforests, my life here is deeply intertwined with the traditions and warmth of my fellow Guyanese.
Having grown up surrounded by the diverse communities that make up our nation, I find joy in connecting with the diaspora—whether it’s through lively discussions about our history or sharing a good laugh about the mispronunciation of Dominica (it’s not the Dominican Republic, folks!). I believe in the importance of unity among Caribbean nations and strive to foster positive conversations that highlight our shared experiences and distinct identities.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
