Hello! I’m Ravi Persaud, a manager based in the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, nestled in Phase 3 of the New Housing area, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by our rich culture, from the lively sounds of folk music to the fragrant aroma of a well-cooked roti and curry. I believe that food is a universal language, and nothing brings people together quite like a plate of cook-up rice or a bowl of pepper pot, particularly during our festive celebrations.
Having lived and worked in various capacities, I’m passionate about fostering connections within our diaspora and sharing the uniqueness of our homeland.
