Living in a community that thrives on the bounty of the land and sea, I am passionate about preserving our traditions and sharing the flavors of our cuisine—especially dishes like pepperpot and fresh catch cooked in coconut milk.
As a Guyanese, I carry my culture with pride. Growing up, I often explored the vibrant landscapes of Baracaro Island, and I cherish the memories of family gatherings filled with laughter, music, and the aroma of delicious food. Although I am rooted in Guyana, I feel a strong bond with the diaspora.
