Hello! I’m Rayanna Henry, a proud resident of Essequibo Roden Rust on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us—from the serene rivers to the lush landscapes. My heart is forever tied to Guyana, a place where the warmth of the people rivals the tropical sun and where every meal is a celebration of our rich culinary heritage, especially our fresh local produce that is truly second to none!
As someone born and raised in Guyana, I carry the essence of my homeland wherever I go. I often catch myself reminiscing about the days spent at the markets, where the aroma of ripe mangoes and fresh fish fills the air. I believe that the best fresh food in the world can be found right here in Guyana, and I’m proud to share that passion with others.
Though I now reside in the diaspora, I remain connected to my Guyanese roots. I actively engage with fellow Guyanese around the world, celebrating our heritage and discussing the current events shaping our beloved country. Whether I’m watching from afar or sharing stories with others in my community, I carry the spirit of Guyana with me, always striving to uplift our voices and spread the richness of our culture.
