Hello! My name is Raymond Jairam, and I hail from the vibrant community of Pomona on the Essequibo Coast. As a proud Guyanese labourer, I carry the spirit of my homeland wherever I go. Our rich culture, from the aromatic curry and pepperpot that fills our kitchens to the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, shapes who I am. I believe there’s nothing quite like sharing a meal of fresh catch with family and friends while reminiscing about the beauty of our rivers and the warmth of our people.
Growing up in Pomona, I have always felt a deep connection to my roots.
