Hello! I'm Raymond Brumell, a proud farmer residing at Coast 350 Water Street in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and rich biodiversity of this area has deeply influenced my passion for agriculture. I cultivate a variety of crops that not only nourish our local community but also reflect the vibrant flavors of our Guyanese cuisine, from rice and peas to the ever-popular cassava.
My roots run deep in this land, where the majestic Pomeroon River flows and where I often reminisce about the lively gatherings filled with laughter, music, and, of course, plenty of rice and curry. I cherish the connections we maintain with our diaspora community—whether it's sharing stories of home or celebrating our culture together, even from afar. Just like many who comment on videos about our homeland, I too feel that sentimental tug whenever I hear a song from the soca paradise on Liberty Ave in NYC or when someone mentions the breathtaking Angel Falls of Venezuela.
