Hello! I'm Raywattie Seecharan, a proud housewife residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Though my life here is filled with the joy of nurturing my family, my heart often wanders back to the vibrant culture and rich traditions of my beloved Guyana. From the aroma of freshly cooked pepperpot on special occasions to the sound of lively parades during Mashramani, the essence of my homeland is woven into every moment of my life.
Though many of my relatives have moved abroad, I carry their spirit with me. I often reminisce about our family gatherings, filled with laughter and the sharing of stories that connect us across miles. I cherish the bonds formed through our shared heritage—whether it’s enjoying a good plate of cook-up rice or exchanging updates about life in the diaspora. My hope is to someday visit the places that shaped my roots, and to reconnect with the warmth of family and friends who keep our traditions alive.
