Greetings! I’m Reena Springer, proudly hailing from the vibrant Fleece Essequibo Coast, specifically the Sand Quarter of Golden in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots are deeply entwined with the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, where the sounds of the river and the aroma of our delicious local dishes, like pepper pot and roti, fill my memories. The warmth of my community has shaped who I am, and I carry that spirit wherever I go.
As a resident of this beautiful land, I've come to appreciate the unique blend of cultures that defines Guyana. Growing up here means being surrounded by lush landscapes, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene banks of the Essequibo River, which remind me of the beauty of our homeland.
Living away from Guyana, I remain connected to my roots and the diaspora community that continues to thrive globally.
