Welcome to my corner of the internet! My name is Reina Moses, a proud housewife living in the picturesque Coast 61 Lima Sands in Essequibo, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region, I've always been surrounded by the rich culture and traditions that make Guyana so unique. From the lush landscapes to the lively sounds of our local markets, I find joy in sharing the warmth and vibrancy of my homeland with others.
As a true Guyanese, my heart belongs to the rich flavors of our culinary heritage. Whether it's whipping up a delicious plate of pepperpot or savoring a hearty bowl of cook-up rice, I believe that food is a beautiful way to connect with both family and friends. I often reminisce about the days roaming the streets of Georgetown and the delightful experiences I had there—everything from enjoying a hot plate of roti with curry to learning the stories behind our beloved landmarks.
Though I may be anchored here in Essequibo, I cherish the strong connections I have with the Guyanese diaspora around the world. Hearing stories from those living abroad, like my friends in NYC, reminds me of our shared roots and the love we have for our culture.
