Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, which is a delightful blend of traditions that showcase our diverse heritage. I have a particular love for Guyanese street food, and nothing brings me more joy than enjoying a plate of seven curry with friends, eating with our hands the way it's meant to be experienced. Whether it’s the spicy aroma of pepperpot or the sweet taste of cassava pone, each dish captures the essence of our community. I also enjoy introducing our culture to others; it's always a thrill to connect over the shared love for our local delicacies and traditions.
As an active member of the Guyanese community, I aim to bridge connections between our homeland and friends abroad.
