Hello! My name is Reuben Allt, and I'm proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. Living at 92 Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I embrace the vibrant culture and rich traditions that define our beautiful land. From the lush landscapes to the winding rivers, the heart of Guyana pulses through our communities, and I strive each day to contribute positively to it as a dedicated labourer.
Guyana's unique blend of influences is evident in everything we do, especially when it comes to food. Whether it's enjoying a plate of pepper pot during the holidays or sharing a hearty bowl of metemgee with family, the flavors of our culture are what keep us connected. I often reminisce about the times spent with friends at the banks of the Pomeroon River or gathering under the shade of the towering palms in our neighborhoods. It's these moments that remind me of the warmth and camaraderie we share as Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora.
Through my work and community involvement, I aim to uplift those around me. I believe in the strength of our community, as shown by the spirit of the Great Guiana Sisters and the stories we share. As we navigate life, it’s this sense of belonging that fuels my passion and drives me to make a difference. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
