Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Pomeroon-Supenaam has deeply influenced who I am. From the tranquil banks of the Pomeroon River to the rhythmic sounds of local festivals, every aspect of my life here is steeped in the rich culture of Guyana. I cherish our traditional dishes, especially the savory pepperpot and fresh catch from the river, which remind me of home and the warmth of shared meals with family and friends.
