Hello! I’m Ricardo Manchal, a proud resident of Regina Essequibo Coast, specifically the vibrant 105 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this beautiful corner of Guyana, I have always been captivated by our rich cultural heritage, from the rhythmic beats of our music to the savory flavors of our traditional dishes like peanut punch and curry duck. Guyana is a land of diverse cultures, and I cherish my Indian roots while also embracing the tapestry of influences that make our society unique.
Having spent many years here, I’ve witnessed the progress our country has made, although there is still much work to do. The stunning landscapes, such as the Upper Pom River and Karawab Bay, remind me daily of the natural beauty that surrounds us and the potential for development that lies ahead. I believe that our strength comes from our unity as a community, and it's a joy to connect with both locals and members of the Guyanese diaspora who share a passion for our homeland.
