Growing up in Essequibo, I learned the importance of community and connection. I often reminisce about the lively markets filled with fresh produce and spices, as well as the sounds of laughter and music that fill the air during local celebrations. These memories fuel my passion for promoting our beautiful country, especially to those in the diaspora who hold Guyana close to their hearts.
